Shiprock Split

Shiprock, New Mexico

"A jagged ridge leading to Shiprock splits the frame. Shiprock is a 1,583 feet tall monad-knock in New Mexico, and is the remains of an ancient volcano. The contrast from the snow adds definition to the rock, towering out of the Earth. It was -2 degrees this morning and we “camped” in the car with 4 people overnight, probably the coldest night I have had on the road!"
